About Us
Our Rescue and Adoption Program focuses on animals in area pounds to reduce euthanasia in these facilities. The Sanctuary currently provides a lifelong home to felines in need. Our Adoption Kennel for canines is very basic and in need of updating. We try to place every dog in a foster home as they can be worked with to be adoptable dogs.
Prior to being available for adoption, our dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated with species specific vaccinations (including rabies), wormed, and flea treatment. Our felines are combo tested for FELV/FIV; an immune compromised disease.
Our dedicated volunteers bottle feed and raise infant animals who are brought into the area Pounds, as needed.
We offer a Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program for the public to help in time of need.
Currently, in our local area we have 2 feral cat feeding stations. We provide food and a community volunteer performs this service daily. The city has an ordinance allowing trap-neuter-release for the humane control and care of the cats.
Our organization began with one person in the Fall of 1993 committed to helping impounded animals. Our volunteers are dedicated to helping and placing the animals in their care in a "home for life"!
Thank you for supporting our efforts! All donations are tax deductible as allowed by the IRS.
